SUBSTANCE: article with applied sun-protection coating includes substrate, mainly from glass, and coating applied on top of at least part of substrate. Coating comprises a first dielectric layer formed over at least a portion of a substrate; a first metal layer formed over at least a portion of the first dielectric layer; a second dielectric layer formed over at least a portion of the first metal layer; a second metal layer formed over at least a portion of the second dielectric layer; and a third dielectric layer formed over at least a portion of the second metal layer. At least one of the metal layers is formed from a material containing one or more silver compounds, alloyed with iron or a combination of iron with at least one metal selected from tin, chromium, cobalt, nickel, manganese, copper, gold or zinc, wherein at least one of the metal layers is a discontinuous metal layer. Product represents a heat-insulating double-glazed window.
EFFECT: improved sun-protection properties.
