SUBSTANCE: invention relates to multilayer glazing and relates to sun-protective coating for multilayer glazing. Multilayer glazing has a first layer connected to the second layer by a polymer intermediate layer, wherein the first layer has first and second base surfaces, and second layer has third and fourth base surfaces; and a sun-protective coating located on at least one of the main surfaces, the sun-protective coating comprising: a first phase correction layer; first metal layer arranged above phase correction first layer; a first undercoating layer located over the first metal layer; second phase correcting layer located above the first undercoat layer; a second metal layer located on top of the second phase correcting layer; a second undercoating layer disposed over the second metal layer; a third phase correcting layer located above the second primer layer; third metal layer located above third phase correction layer; a third primer layer placed over the third metal layer; a fourth phase correcting layer located on top of the third undercoat layer; and a protective layer located above the fourth phase correction layer.
EFFECT: invention provides a sun-protective coating which provides improved protection against sunlight penetration and/or good aesthetic characteristics when used in both architectural and automotive multilayered glazing.
