FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method to control value of a rotary torque, angular speed of rotation of a vertical-axial wind turbine, in which blades of a wind turbine during variation of wind speed are radially moved, changing the distance between the blade and the axis of wind turbine rotation. Under hurricane winds they forcedly move the blades closer to the axis of the wind turbine rotation. Each blade of the wind turbine is remotely forcedly moved, or under action of pressure of air flow it is moved along horizontal guides set at an angle a, changing the distance between the axis of the wind turbine rotation and the centre of surface of each blade.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase efficiency of control of a rotary torque of a wind turbine with simultaneous control of angular speed of its rotation and stabilisation of wind turbine capacity.
