FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wind power engineering. Wind turbine blades with varying dimensions include a tip that is made of flat plates connected by a hinge, the tip is provided with adjusted springs inserted into telescopic cylinders, which are fixed by hinges to flat plates from one end and to the stopper located on the axis of symmetry of the tip, from the other end. Tip of the blade is provided with a mechanism for changing the dimensions of the blade profile, consisting of two links, each of which is hingedly connected to the plane of the tip and to the coupling, freely moving along the guide rod, installed along the axis of symmetry of the blade profile connecting the hinge located in the input part of the tip, and the stopper, the guide rod is provided with a regulated spring inserted into the telescopic cylinders and connecting the coupling to the stopper, the coupling is connected to the movable stabilizing plane by means of a pivotally attached thrust.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing the efficiency of a wind turbine blade.
