FIELD: wind-power engineering; wind motors with vertical axis of rotation of wind turbine; generation of mechanical and electrical power.
SUBSTANCE: novelty of invention consists in availability of mechanism in wind motor turbine blade tips for fixed change of distance between free ends. Besides that, blade tip is provided with stiffness diaphragms made in form of two sectors rigidly secured on parts of tip; one sector embraces other sector by its edge for sliding and turning around hinge fastening two parts of tip.
EFFECT: increased energy utilization factor due to change of geometric parameters and aerodynamic coefficients of blades.
