Device contains chamber for flowing medium, pressurisation unit, pressure relief unit, sensor for measuring change of internal pressure in chamber for flowing medium, unit of blood pressure measurement, which includes unit of data collection for obtaining information about measurement section perimetre. Control unit controls pressurisation unit and/or pressure relief unit in such a way as to ensure proportional dependence between flow change value per time unit for flowing medium in chamber for flowing medium in any one of processes of pressurisation and pressure relief. Unit of blood pressure measurement calculates value of systolic and diastolic blood pressure on the basis of change of internal pressure in chamber for flowing medium, obtained by sensor, in the process of pressurisation and pressure relief.

EFFECT: group of inventions makes it possible to reduce error of blood pressure measurement and eliminate necessity of correcting volume of chamber for flowing medium.
