Feed of material flow into tank for sludge sedimentation from fed material to form mesh-texture sludge layer. Disturbance of mesh-texture sludge and adjustment of one or several disturbance parameters subject to flow and/or one or several operating parameters for controlled application of optimum disturbance to mesh-texture sludge in disturbance zone. Proposed device comprises tank, shifting device and shifting force parameters control device.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of sedimentation in thickener.
