FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: method involves conducting the process in 4-6% stearic acid solution in dodecane in the presence of a palladium catalyst in amount of 11-13% of the mass of stearic acid, which is deposited on super-crosslinked polystyrene MN270. The process is carried out in a hydrogen atmosphere at pressure of 0.5-0.7 MPa and temperature of 250-260°C.

EFFECT: high quality of the obtained product owing to absence of sulphur in its composition, low content of metal in the catalyst and reuse thereof makes the obtained product cheaper.
