FIELD: biotechnologies.

SUBSTANCE: antiviral peptides resisting virus binding to DLC8 are described. Large amount of pathogenic agents of viral origin is used in intracellular transport mechanisms based on dynein at certain moment of their infectious cycle. This invention includes a new antiviral therapy consisting in inhibition of virus infection caused with those viruses that use a system of dynein by means of counteraction mechanisms, thus mainly preventing interaction between virus protein and cellular protein DLC8. This invention discloses for the first time blocking of function of that peptide interaction, the sequence of which includes or consists of complete or partial sequence of virus protein, which corresponds to a domain bonded to DLC8.
