FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: piston 1 comprises cooling chamber 4 confined by bottom 5 and web 6 isolating said chamber from engine crankcase, feed and discharge channels and extra discharge channels 8, 9, 10. End of discharge channel 9 on cooling chamber end is located in zone adjoining said web 6 so that portion of coolant is shut off by said end in cooling chamber 4 at fitting the piston on horizontal plane with its bottom upside. Extra discharge channel 10 on cooling chamber side located in zone adjoining said piston bottom 5 shuts off portion of coolant piston being fitted on horizontal plane with its bottom downward. Valves 12, 13 are arranged in discharge channel 9 and extra discharge channel 10. Said makes control coolant masses ratio in working cycle equal to where is coolant weight in first cylinder piston, is coolant weight in second cylinder piston, φ is crankshaft angle of turn relative to first cylinder; λ is engine mechanism constant; mn is piston weight.

EFFECT: lower dynamic loads at engine crank gear.
