FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: method for bringing into action of two or more compressors for cooling agent during hydrocarbon cooling process. In such a hydrocarbon cooling process the initial hydrocarbon flow can be passed in a counterflow with partially evaporated cooling agent flows. At least partially evaporated above cooling agent flows are compressed in cooling agent compressors. In order to obtain electric energy and hot gas, one ore more gas turbines are brought into action. Hot gas is passed through one or more steam generating heat exchangers so that water vapour energy is obtained, which is used to bring into action one or more steam turbines bringing into action at least one of the cooling agent compressors. Electric energy is used for bringing at least the other one cooling agent compressor into action.
EFFECT: higher safety.
