FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: device comprises a measuring-recording block and a unit of suspension, fixed on a rigid carrier and providing for rotation of the measuring-recording block around two orthogonal axes. The measuring-recording block is balanced relative to the horizontal axis of the suspension unit by own weight and buoyancy and comprises an equipment block equipped with helical blades and a frame with guide vanes. The equipment block is installed in the frame with capability of rotation around its longitudinal axis and comprises sensors of orientation in the form of a biaxial sensor of deviation from a vertical line and a triaxial electronic compass, a digital system of signal processing and an autonomous source of power supply.

EFFECT: simplified device and increased reliability without loss of quality of measurements, expansion of its application area, reduced dimensions, weight and increased convenience.
