FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: shield/converter has radiation transmission channels in form of fibre-optic scintillators connected in series or in parallel, which scintillate in different areas of the optical spectrum, wherein the channels are assembled into a bundle and are grouped into single-coordinate scintillation detectors which are arranged in series in the direction of propagation of illuminating radiation, partially or completely overlapping the cross-section of the illuminating beam.
EFFECT: increasing spatial resolution of the shield/converter to hundreds of micrometers, reduced input of scattered radiation into the scintillation signal and high contrast of the radiographic image, and obtaining images simultaneously in different areas of the spectrum of radiation incident on the shield/converter.
