FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to forging equipment and can be used in crank presses. Crank press clutch comprises pressure, thrust and driven plates. Pressure disc is driven by modular drive. Every module includes rod, motor with rotor and torque converter. Rod displaces to transmit torque to pressure disc. End motor rotor runs on shaft and is magnetically coupled with inner and outer stators mounted at press bed. Torque converter is engaged via planetary reduction gear with rotor shaft and rod.
EFFECT: simplified design, accelerated operation.
