SUBSTANCE: invention involves method for selection of coil set; at that the set contains coil elements providing the biggest contribution and only these coil elements are used for further data selection. Selection is made on the basis of projection matrix that projects coil sensitivity matrix for the set of virtual coil elements; at that projection matrix is calculated on the basis of singular decomposition and it contains contribution of each coil element out of variety of coil elements to the set of virtual coil elements.

EFFECT: perfecting method for coil elements selection out of variety of coil elements and increasing signal-to-noise ratio.
