FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: method involves emitting pulsed phase-code manipulated signals with variation of the phase manipulation code from probing period to period, receiving reflected signals and processing thereof, where in each probing period, one of two matched phase-code manipulated signals is emitted, for which the side lobe amplitude values of autocorrelation functions are equal in magnitude but have opposite signs, and principal peaks of autocorrelation functions are equal. When received, the reflected signals are compressed separately for each probing period. Readings of compression results of even and odd probing periods are then separated for each obtained range element. For the separated readings of compression results, two TV point discrete Fourier transforms are performed to obtain two discrete spectra. The phase ratios of readings of the discrete spectra are corrected and then summed thereafter.
EFFECT: high resolution of radar systems and high communication channel noise immunity in communication equipment.
