FIELD: radio, communication.
SUBSTANCE: emitting of pulse phase-code-manipulated (PCM) signals is carried out with the change in the code of the phase manipulation from period to period of sensing, receiving of reflected signals and their processing is carried out, and in each period of sensing one of two PCM signals matched with each other is emitted, which amplitudes of side lobes of autocorrelation functions are equal in module but have opposite signs, and the main peaks of the autocorrelation functions are equal. When receiving the reflected signals their compression is carried out for each sensing period separately to obtain readings of the compression results. The emitting, receiving and processing the PCM signals is carried out over two clock intervals, in one of which in each period of sensing the same PCM signal is emitted, and in the other clock interval two PCM signals are used, the emitting of which I carried out alternatively sequentially from period to period of sensing. Upon receipt of the compression results readings in both clock intervals for each obtained range element an N-point discrete Fourier transforming is carried out to obtain spectral readings (discrete spectrum). The discrete spectra obtained for each clock interval are compared, and thereby the components are isolated, relating to the main peaks (desired signal).
EFFECT: increase in resolving capacity of radar systems.
