FIELD: radio equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and can be used in signal processing of received radar signals. Method is based on emitting a phase-modulated probing signal, receiving a reflected signal, wherein the signal which modulates the probing signal, as well as the received reflected signal, is converted into complex signals, then their spectra are formed by fast Fourier transformation. Further, spectrum modulus of complex modulating signal probing signal is determined, spectrum of complex received signal per square of modulus of complex modulating spectrum probing signal of signal by formula
- spectrum of complex received signal, - spectrum of complex modulating signal, is a normalized spectrum, the normalized spectrum of the received signal is converted to a time domain and its compression is performed. In implementing the claimed method, technical result is achieved, which consists in improvement of probability of detection and reducing the level of false alarms when detecting signals in adjacent range elements (strobe) by reducing the level of side lobes of the compressed signal.
EFFECT: technical problem solved by the proposed invention is high reliability of detecting signals in adjacent elements (strobe) range.
