FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: what is involved is the preventive administration of antibiotics effective on aerobic and anaerobic microflora 30-60 minutes before the operation. A fissure bur fixed in a straight or angled dental handpiece is used to remove the epithelium and granulation tissue from an internal side of the gingival pocket. If the adjacent teeth are absent, the epithelium and granulation tissue are additionally removed from the medial and distal sides. After the gum has been detached, the stages of tooth extraction procedure are performed, including: extracting forceps manipulation, fixation, dislocation and traction. A half initial dose of the antibiotics is administered into the patient 6 hours after the operation.
EFFECT: method enables reducing a risk of the onset and development of infectious endocarditis and atrophy of the dental arch at the level of the extracted tooth ensured by the preventative administration of the antibiotics effecting on the aerobic and anaerobic microflora and the removal of the epithelium and granulation tissue from the gingival pocket.
