FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises feed of gases to be cleaned into absorption zone at opposite motion with absorbent while air is fed into regeneration zone in amount that ensures ratio between air oxygen and hydrogen sulphide in gases of 0.5-25.1, extraction of cleaned gases from top part of absorption zone while sulfur is extracted fro bottom zone of regeneration area. It differs from known methods in that air is fed along with gases to be cleaned into absorption zone in amount that ensures the ratio between air oxygen and hydrogen sulphide in gases of 0.5-0.75 1. Note also that total volume of fed air into absorption and regeneration zones that ensures the ratio between partial volumes of air oxygen and hydrogen sulphide not exceeding the initial magnitude.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of cleaning, lower costs.
