FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: copolycarbonates according to the invention contain a chain-terminating agent in form of a moiety of formula: , at least one diphenol base of formula: and dihydroxyaryl compounds of formula (3) HO-Z-OH, where Z is a residue of formula: . All radicals with above-mentioned formulae are given in claim 1. Said copolycarbonates also have nonuniformities: A) for a linear copolycarbonate with average molecular weight from 18000 to 35000 g/mol with content ≥ 50 mol % and <100 mol % diphenol base of formula (2), with respect to total diphenols, U=(Mw/Mn) - 1 ranges from 1.3 to 2.5, and B) for a linear copolycarbonate with average molecular weight from 16000 to 35000 g/mol with content higher than 0 and less than 50 mol % diphenol base of formula (2), with respect to total diphenols, U=(Mw/Mn) - 1 ranges from 1.2 to 2.4.
EFFECT: obtaining copolycarbonates with improved heat mouldability, reduced nonuniformity with improved thermal properties and reduced use of bisphenols with a high glass transition temperature.
