FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: moulded article in form of an optical data medium or light-scattering glass contains a polycarbonate obtained by reacting at least one bisphenol with phosgene in a process on a phase boundary, wherein phosgene is used in excess of 8-17 mol % per total bisphenols used. The interval between 95 and 100% of the total surface of the corresponding moulded article has charge potential from -1.5 to +1.5 kV, and from 0 to 5% of charge potential in the interval between -1.5 to -2.5 kV, respectively, between +1.5 and +2.5 kV, and up to 1% of the total surface of the disc has charge potential <-2.5 kV, respectively >+2.5 kV. Potential is measured using a Monroe probe at a distance 3.5 mm from the surface of the moulded article, the scanning range of which in the directions X- and Y- coordinates is 12 cm, and the scanning pitch is 2 mm.
EFFECT: improved antistatic properties.
