FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: cast article representing an optical data storage of light dissipating glass comprises polycarbonate produced in interaction between, at least, one bisphenol and phosgene at phase interface. Surplus phosgene is used in amount of 8-17% per the sum of used bisphenols. Integrated intensity of electric field measured at 100 mm from cast articles produced during 5 minutes of continuous casting at pressure varied from -30 to 0 kV/m, preferably, from -20 to 0 kV/m.
EFFECT: lower intensity of electrostatic field on cast article surface, higher quality of cast articles.
