FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: proposed bearing comprises thrust collar pivot 4, pad 3 made of antifriction material, bearing sleeve 1 with spherical thrust surface for pad 3 to rest upon by its rear side. Oil clearance is arranged between said pivot 4 and pad 3. Pad 3 has pockets 6 arranged regularly in circle at rear side and oil channels 7 communicating pockets 6 with oil clearance. Oil pad at rear side of pad 3 is formed by redistribution of oil pressure in working clearance and oil transfer via oil channels 7 into pockets 6.
EFFECT: longer life and higher reliability of bearing.
