SUBSTANCE: radio direction finder has five antennae, a high frequency amplifier, two tunable heterodynes, a directional coupler, a control generator, five high frequency mixers, five intermediate frequency preamplifiers, six intermediate frequency band-pass filters, four intermediate frequency mixers, four second intermediate frequency band-pass filters, four intermediate frequency amplifiers with radio input limitation and with a logarithmic characteristic on the video output, two quadrature phase detectors, a frequency discriminator, a digital control circuit, electrically programmable read-only memory, an analogue adder, an analogue-to-digital converter unit, a threshold device and a bearing computer, connected to each other in a certain manner.
EFFECT: high noise-immunity and accuracy of direction binding in a wide frequency range of input signals, providing full depth of built-in control of a radio direction finder.
