SUBSTANCE: invention relates to plant breeding of potato Solanum tuberosum. The invention is a method comprising hybridisation between diploid wild species of potato 1EBN and the species (line)-intermediary and subsequent becrossing of the obtained hybrids with dihaploids Solanum tuberosum, where the parent forms when hybridisation between diploid wild species 1EBN of potatoes and the species (line)-intermediary are used as the plants selected in the F2 generation of hybrids between dihaploids Solanum tuberosum and wild diploid species of potato Solanum verrucosum, carrying S genes in homozygous state, brought from Solanum verrucosum.
EFFECT: invention enables to increase the yield of hybrid seeds, the fertility of interspecific hybrids, their ability to tuberisation and the ability to hybridise with the cultivated potato.
