FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a measuring technique, particularly to a device for melting the solids and then measuring the conductivity in obtained melts. The inventive device for measuring the conductivity of the melt comprises a dielectric tube with an electrode disposed therein, a receiving voltage terminal connected to the first electrode connected in series and a current recorder and a variable resistor, a power supply source that is used as a power source for the measurement, an electrode entering the device for the implementation of the electroslag process performed by a non-melting, part of the dielectric tube covered with the electrode and capable of raising and lowering along the cylindrical electrode surface with the handle attached by the clamp to the electrode simultaneously with a thermocouple in a case connected to the potentiometer and the working end of a tube embedded in the middle of the interelectrode gap, and a second terminal of the voltage recorder is connected to a steel plate.
EFFECT: invention provides for expansion of technological capabilities, improved accuracy and simplification of procedures for measuring conductivities.
