FIELD: physics, nuclear.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nuclear engineering and particularly to designs of jacketless fuel assemblies. The fuel assembly has of bundle of fuel elements and guide channels, installed in spacer grids, a head, an anti-vibration grid and end section. The end section consists of a cup and a base plate connected to each other. The anti-vibration grid consists of a field of interconnected cells in whose elastic members fuel cells are mounted. According to the invention, the anti-vibration grid is placed over the end section and is mounted on at least three guide channels by thrust bushings placed in pairs above and below the field of cells of the anti-vibration grid at points where the guide channels pass and connected to the guide channels by welding or soldering.
EFFECT: reduced hydraulic resistance of the end section, high speed of the heat carrier washing the bundle of fuel elements, high efficiency of cooling fuel elements and long-term performance of the fuel assembly.
