FIELD: nuclear technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nuclear technology, in particular to the design of shell-less fuel assemblies. The fuel assembly of a nuclear reactor contains a head, a shank, fuel elements, guide channels, spacer grids, the lower tips of the fuel elements and the lower tips of the guide channels are fixed in the base plate of the shank. The tip of the guide channel is made in the form of a structure consisting of a sleeve, in the inner cavity of which a bolt and a fixing screw with a central hole are placed. The bolt passes through the hole of the shank base plate and fixes the tip of the guide channel in the shank base plate by means of a threaded connection with a nut. Four radial holes are made in the bushing and the screw, extending into the cavity of the central hole of the screw.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the reliability of the pipe-tip connection of the guide channel and an increase in the service life of the fuel assembly of a nuclear reactor.
