FIELD: nuclear engineering, in particular, structures of open heat-exhausting units of nuclear reactor.
SUBSTANCE: heat-exhausting unit contains a bundle of heat-exhausting elements and guiding channels, tail and head. Guiding channels are located in distancing grids. Distancing grids are connected to each other and to tail by elements, positioned along length of heat-exhaustive unit. Head consists of connected upper and lower plates, ring and spring block. Ring is positioned between aforementioned plates. Ring is provided with external ribs. external ribs are interconnected via projecting parts by means of band and via lower section - by means of perforated plates.
EFFECT: increased rigidity of heat-exhaustive units, decreased length of head due to movement of functional assembly of head - bumper mesh onto ring of head and therefore increased free space between bundle of heat-exhaustive elements, making it possible to increase load of fuel into heat-exhaustive units with greater depth of combustion and, thus, increasing power of active zone of reactor and also duration of exploitation of heat-exhaustive units.
