FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: fuel assembly of nuclear reactor consists of bundle of fuel elements and guiding channels located in spacer grids; assembly also consists of head and shank end. The shank end consists of a cartridge, bearing plate and anti-vibration grid connected between them. The anti-vibration grid consists of interconnected cells, while lower ends of fuel elements and guiding channels are secured in the shank end. The lower end of fuel element is made in form of a cylinder transforming into a tip of a conic shape; it also has a circular groove made on the cylinder part with two inclined collars; the fuel element is secured in flexible components of the cell by means of these collars. Stepped bushings are installed between lower end collars of the ends of the guiding channels and the bearing plate; field of cells of anti-vibration grid is fixed by means of the said bushings.
EFFECT: complete automated installation of bundles of fuel elements while maintaining resource characteristics of fuel assembly.
