SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a system for management of dairy animals. The system for management of dairy animals comprises at least first and second production departments and the department for care having multiple subunits. Each production department is provided with at least one area of location of the production group which is a group of lactating dairy animals, and milking device for milking the production group. The subunits of the department for care comprise at least the department for calving, a milking device and a therapeutic department. The department for care forms the link between the production departments. The milking devices are located on the side of production departments which border with the department for care. The subunits of the department for care comprise the department for dry animals. The department of care comprises the area provided with free compartment. The production departments are made elongated and have a short side facing the department for care. The department for care connects all production departments. The production departments have a short side facing the centre of the department for care in star-shaped manner. The milking device of the production department comprises a milking robot. Each production department has two areas of placement for coupling of the production group. The system additionally comprises a passage provided with an identification device for identification of a dairy animal. The passage forms the link between the two subunits or between the production department and the department for care. The system comprises a control computer for controlling the passage.
