FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for production of n-oleic acid in a microencapsulated form for consumption by animals and humans. The method involves the following stages: provision of a granulated material based on n-oleic acid compound; the granulated material mixing with a matrix containing long chain saturated fatty acids (C14-C22) within the range of 40% - 95%, the mixture heating up to a temperature higher than the matrix lipid component melting temperature; the mixture spraying in a cooling chamber with a temperature lower than the matrix lipid component melting temperature so that the matrix is hardened around the granulated material forming a coating on the said granulated material as follows: the matrix includes a mineral agent within the range of 1% - 20% relative to the matrix; calcium sulphate dehydrate fraction in the mineral agent is equal to more than 50%.
EFFECT: manufactured product provides for slow and controllable separation of the active ingredient in the small bowel.
