FIELD: fire safety.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire-extinguishing equipment, and in particular to devices generating gas and aerosol mixture of flame retardants, designed for total fire extinguishing in closed unventilated premises. The generator of fire extinguishing aerosol comprises a housing with holes, which is made of two oppositely stacked containers of dished shape. The containers are provided with heat-insulating interlayers, in one of which the pyrotechnic checker of end burning is fixed. In the pyrotechnic checker the igniter is mounted which reacts with the initiating unit. The unit is secured to the bottom of the second container of the housing, bearing the cylindrical shell. Inside the shell the central housing is located with a radial gap, which end abuts the annular jumper of the container junction. The outlet holes are distributed along the periphery of the container bottom, free from pyrotechnic checker. The volume between the coaxially located cylindrical shell and the central housing, which are made perforated, is filled with bulk heat material.
EFFECT: proposed technical solution provided highly effective fire extinguishing due to the separation of large unburned particles of thermal decomposition of pyrotechnic checker and liquid phase of the generated aerosol for their more complete burning inside the generator, accompanied by additional outfeed of thermal energy from the fire-extinguishing mixture in the filter-cooler.
