FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to abrasive processing and may be used in production of variable-porosity abrasive disk. Proposed tool comprises body with abrasive portion including abrasive grains in matrix material and porosity. Said porosity is described by bimodal distribution of pores including larger pores of mean size (PI) and smaller pores of mean size (PS). Note here that PI>PS. Abrasive tool body comprises first reinforcing element included in abrasive part that features relative thermal expansion in the range of 25-450°C not exceeding 0.7%.
EFFECT: improved performances.
