FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to indicators of icing. Warning indicator comprises synchroniser, receiving optical system, photoreceiver composed of N linear photosensitive elements where N is integer larger than unity, signal processor, threshold strain unit, alarm signalling unit, modulator, pulse oscillator, optical radiator, transmitting optical system, polariser, optically-transparent heated radiator cowl, optically-transparent heated photoreceiver cowl, analyser, icing availability indicator, deicing system control device, memory unit and shift register. N first inputs of memory unit are connected to N first outputs of signal processor. M second inputs of memory unit are connected to M outputs of shift register where M is integer. Shift register first and second inputs are connected to synchroniser first and second outputs. Shift register second input is connected to memory unit (M+1)th input. Memory unit (M+1)th input is connected to synchroniser third output, N×M outputs of memory unit are connected to N×M inputs of icing availability indicator comprising N×M indicating elements arranged as 2D matrix composed of N lines and M columns.
EFFECT: comprehensive signalling, optimised deicing system.
