FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: quakeproof building includes a frame and a foundation slab suspended on stiff traction rods in vertical direction to a foundation sleeve that covers it and is deepened into soil. Between the bottom of the foundation sleeve and the foot of the foundation slab there is a dynamic damper of horizontal oscillations in the form of a slab suspended to the frame with the help of stiff traction rods in the vertical direction, stretched through holes in the foundation slab, besides, the size of these holes makes it possible for the damper to freely make horizontal oscillations during an earthquake.
EFFECT: higher reliability and earthquake resistance of a building.
