FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of construction and can be used for the construction of buildings in seismically hazardous areas and the registration of horizontal seismic vibrations of various directions for the entire period of operation of the building. An earthquake-resistant building includes elevated floors, a foundation in the form of a platform of horizontal lower and upper slabs, of which the lower slab is installed on the ground, and between the slabs there is a horizontal structural gap in which metal balls are located in individual metal bowl-shaped recesses, with the possibility of their free movement in horizontal plane. The platform is placed below the ground level in accordance with the depth of the foundation, and between the top plate of the platform and the surrounding soil with a concrete protective wall, a vertical structural gap is formed along the perimeter of the building, the size of which is not less than the diameter of the cup-shaped recess. The gap on the outer surfaces of the longitudinal and end walls and the angle between them is additionally equipped with ultrasonic recorders of longitudinal and transverse horizontal seismic vibrations, which are connected through the control unit to a portable computer with software for recording the kinetics of seismic vibrations, and in the underground part of the building, opposite each ultrasonic recorder, ultrasonic reflectors are fixed to the concrete protective wall. The vertical gap from above along the perimeter of the building is blocked by a protective sliding blind area.
EFFECT: expanding the functionality of an earthquake-resistant building that maintains rest inertia under the action of longitudinal and transverse horizontal seismic vibrations, while recording these vibrations.
