FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: rod stocks are placed into a cylindrical container, melted with glass, and the container is moved into a die mould of a press, where hot isostatic pressing is carried out. After discharge of the container from the die mould it is cooled on air for 2-3 minutes, and the glass pressing is squeezed from the container on a cold press with the speed of 0.3-0.5 mm/s. Dimensional mechanical treatment of stocks is carried out after glass chipping to produce nominal size of rods.
EFFECT: elimination of operations of mechanical stripping of pressing from a container material, higher level of production automation.
