SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a generator of strontium-82/rubidium-82. The generator comprises a column filled with a cation exchanger charged with strontium-82, and having an inlet and outlet, and liquid medium, at the same time parts of the column, the inlet and outlet that contact with this liquid medium do not contain iron, preferably do not contain metal, the liquid medium is a washing medium for rubidium-82 and represents a physiological buffer having pH 6-8.5, and the liquid medium represents a sterilising medium.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to continuously use a generator during the extended period of life.
