FIELD: medicine; physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology of producing radioisotopes for nuclear medicine on charged particle accelerators. Method of producing strontium-82 (82Sr) radioisotope by reaction of Rb(p,xn)82Sr includes irradiating target by protons, such as solution or melt of one or more chemical compounds of rubidium or their suspension in liquid carrier, and their circulation in closed circuit through protons irradiation area, gaining in target at reaction 85Rb(p,4n)82Sr and (or) reaction 87Rb(p,6n)82Sr radioisotope 82Sr, and extraction of 82Sr from irradiated target after irradiation or directly during exposure using radiochemical method.
EFFECT: invention provides low explosion hazard of method, expansion of functionality, possibility to use multiple target device, excluding costs for its production and possibility of automating process.
