SUBSTANCE: communication device exchanges data with another communication device connected to a data channel and shares bandwidth with said device. The communication device includes: a receiving unit which, through the data channel, receives data containing time information based on transmission time when transmitting a clock signal in a data channel from a device for transmitting a clock signal with a given cycle. The clock signal is intended to synchronise a plurality of communication devices; a transmitting unit which transmits data in a data channel; and a data transmission control unit which estimates the period of absence of a clock signal, during which a clock signal is absent in the data channel, based on time information received by the receiving unit and a given cycle and controls the data transmission unit for transmitting data within a calculated period of absence of the clock signal.

EFFECT: reduced rate of occurrence of conflicts and high efficiency of using a data channel.
