FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, namely to means of K-edge visualisation. System of visualisation includes source of polychromatic radiation, which crosses the area under examination, sensor of radiation registration and generation of signal, characterising value of registered photon energy, energy discriminator, made with possibility of energy resolution of signal, basing on multiple threshold values of energy, with, at least, two threshold values of energy corresponding to, at least, two different values of energy of K-edge of two different element in mixture, located in the area under examination, device of dividing signal with energy resolution into, at least, component with several K-edges, and device of reconstruction of component with several K-edges for creating image, representing different substances, basing on known and in fact constant stoichiometric ratio of two different elements in mixture. Method of visualisation is performed with application of visualisation system.
EFFECT: application of invention makes it possible to increase sensitivity of K-edge visualisation.
