FIELD: heating.

SUBSTANCE: heating unit for production of domestic hot water includes the first heat exchanger that is connected to two fluid medium circuits and in which the first fluid medium of the primary circuit transmits heat energy to the second fluid medium of the secondary circuit, which represents domestic hot water. Besides, the primary circuit includes the main heat energy source an additional heat energy source; with that, those sources are installed in a hydraulic circuit in series, and the additional source is installed upstream of the main source; a bypass pipe of the additional source, which is installed in the hydraulic circuit parallel to the same additional source; a three-way valve that can selectively supply the first fluid medium to the additional source or to the bypass pipe. Besides, the unit includes a control unit intended to control the three-way valve.

EFFECT: simplifying a heating unit design owing to reducing the number of heat exchangers included in its composition, and improving efficiency and durability of the components included in its composition at simultaneous use of renewable energy types.
