FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises loading the charge materials into electric oven, carbothermic reduction of silica to silicon to obtain alloy of silicon with iron, tapping obtained alloy via oven chute into intake flask with spontaneous mixing, feeding the refined gas to said alloy and casting forming. Note here that said refined gas is fed to alloy flow circulation zone via intermediate vessel bottom blower arranged on the way of liquid alloy flow while refined gas flow rate is kept equal to 0.005÷0.2 m3/min per ton of alloy.

EFFECT: lower production costs, higher quality of ferrosilicon with decreased content of carbon, calcium and aluminium admixtures.
