FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: single-row spherical roller frictionless bearing comprises an external ring (1) with a rolling path, an inner ring (2) with a rolling path, conical rolling bodies (3) and a separator for separation of rolling bodies. The rolling path of the external ring (1) is made toroidal, and the rolling path of the internal ring (2) is made spherical. Rolling bodies (3) have a concave profile coupled with rolling paths of rings (1, 2). The centre of the sphere of the rolling path of the internal ring (2) of the bearing is displaced relative to its centre of gravity along the longitudinal axis depending on combination of radial and axial components of the external load acting at the bearing.
EFFECT: expanded range of application of design of a roller frictionless bearing by means of its usage as different types of bearings - radial, radial-thrust, thrust-radial or thrust.
