SUBSTANCE: data transmission method involves: receiving a label of a codeword in a codebook for weight antennae sent by user equipment (UE); searching for the codeword identified by the label from the codebook for eight antennae; and coding data to be sent using the codeword, and sending the coded data. The codebook includes one rank-8 codeword for eight antennae. The rank-8 codeword for antennae is generated by multiplying an inverse matrix of a rotation matrix for eight antennae with an eight-dimensional matrix formed by rank-4 codewords for four antennae. Therefore, the codeword in the codebook for eight antennae is applicable to scenarios including dual-polarisation strong correlation, dual-polarisation weak correlation, single-polarisation strong correlation, and single-polarisation weak correlation.
EFFECT: high efficiency of transmitting data.
