FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine. A measurement unit for measuring quantitative information on a substance being an ingredient of a carrier specified in subcutaneous interstitial fluid and blood, comprises a sensor section accommodating a sensor, and a computing section. The sensor is formed so that a part thereof can be placed under the skin, and the computing section is placed so as to be isolated from the sensor section. The sensor section additionally comprises a water-impermeable film having an adhesive layer on one side. The sensor comprises a housed part placed under the skin, and a main part placed on the skin surface. The water-impermeable film is formed so as to prevent a moisture penetration into the main part when it covers the main part with the adhesive layer facing the main part. When implementing the method, the sensor unit comprising the sensor that outputs a signal in accordance with the quantitative information is placed on the skin so that a part of the sensor is placed under the skin. A control unit comprising the computing section that receives the signal output by the sensor, and performs the signal-based computing processing at a location remote from the sensor section, is integrated.

EFFECT: group of inventions enables higher ease of use, minimised rate of situations involving the sensor displacement against a user's intention, and facilitated a sensor changing procedure.
