SUBSTANCE: invention relates to reduction of concentration of iodide compound in fluid with the help of ion-exchange resin. Proposed method comprises bringing fluid in contact with resin whereat aid resin comprises strong-acid macroporous resin with at least 1% of acid functional groups turned into silver, dry mass of at least 5.0 eq/kg, mean pore diameter (D50) equal to about 400-800 Ǻ, pore volume of at least 0.4-0.6 ml/g and specific surface area of about 20-40 m2/g.
EFFECT: reduced iodide level in fluid.
