FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electroconductive ceramic materials having low resistivity and can be used as electrode materials, particularly for making non-consumable (non-combustible) anodes of electrolysis cells for producing aluminium, electrodes for glass-melting furnaces and electric resistance heaters. Silver (II) oxide is added to a mixture for making highly conductive ceramic material based on tin oxide with additives of ultra-fine powder of metal oxides as one of the additives, with the following ratio of components, wt %: tin dioxide 90-96, antimony (III) oxide 2, silver (II) oxide 2-8.

EFFECT: obtaining highly conductive ceramic material, having low resistivity in a wide temperature range (20-500°C).
